Sakura Festival
Date: 04/02/2011
Place: Lawn in front of Ozark Hall
Weather: Beautiful Sunny Day!!!
Sakura Festival is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms or ume blossoms. From the end of March to early May, sakura bloom all over Japan, and around the first of February on the island of Okinawa. In this season, we have an outdoor party beneath the sakura during daytime or at night.
All cherry blossoms were full bloomed in the event day. Many people came and enjoy watching flowers with Japanese traditional foods.
The event was successful because of many volunteers. We appreciate about it!
